Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How much does your grooming cost & why aren't there prices listed on your website?
  Our prices vary from pet to pet. Every pet is different, some requiring more attention & time to groom. Things like age, size, breed, coat length, type & condition, and pets' comfort level with grooming, all determine the length of time to be groomed. When you email us for an appointment, we'll give you an estimated price according to your description- but prices may be adjusted up or down after the first groom. You'll be informed of any rise in price before work begins. We don't list prices because there are just too many variations to list them accurately here. 

2. Can I get an appointment for today or tomorrow? Unfortunately no. We're a small company. Most of our schedule is filled with standing appointments for our happy, regular customers. :-) Remaining appointments are generally booked 1-3 weeks in advance.

3. How do I make an appointment? The best and fastest way is to click the link on the "Contact Us" page of this website to fill out the contact form. Please fill out the form completely, including your email address and/or phone number, your address or zip code, and pet description. We usually reply to emails within a day. When we offer you an appointment via email, we hold that appointment until we hear back from you- so we always appreciate prompt replies (even if you don't want the appointment!), so we may free that spot up for someone else.  

4. Can I make an appointment for nail clipping only? We're sorry, but we aren't able to accommodate requests for just nail trims. The price of gas these days is just too high to make a special trip for only nails. However, we'd be happy to add a bath!

5. What's the biggest sized dogs your vans will accommodate? The only 2 breeds we can't fit in our bath tubs are St. Bernards and Great Danes. However, we generally won't mind giving these breeds baths in your yard!

6. Will you need to plug into my house or use my water hose?  Our vans are completely self contained, and we most likely will never need your water or electricity. We have water tanks for clean & dirty water, generators for power, and water heaters for warm comfy showers installed in our modern, well-stocked, state-of-the-art vans.  (See pics of our vans on the home page)

7. Can you come to apartment complexes?  Absolutely! We can actually access apartments better than some other mobile groomers, since we are fully self contained. Also, our generator is quiet enough not to disturb other residents. (Sometimes we may need to park on the street if there are no guest parking spaces available in the complex.)

8. Do you groom cats?  Yes- if your cat is willing to let us, we'll be happy to! 

9. What's included for the price I was quoted?   FOR DOGS:  A full service groom includes a bath using high quality Oatmeal or medicated shampoo, conditioner if needed, complete hand drying (we don't use cage dryers), ear cleaning and plucking if needed, nail clipping, hair cut & style, sanitary trimming, anal glands, and if desired, bows and/or cologne.  Bath only appointments still include all the above without the haircut. FOR CATS:  Full service appointment includes nail clip, ear cleaning, bath, hand dry, and hair cut (choices include lion cuts or all-over length shortening.)  Bath only appointments include all the above without the haircut. Additional add-on options include de-shed treatments, teeth brushing, and nail polish (dogs).
